BRAD WAS TURNED ON BY PREGNANT ANGELINA JOLIE

Brad Pitt was really turned on by Angelina Jolie when she was pregnant.

The 'Tomb Raider' star - who gave birth to the couple's daughter Shiloh in Namibia last May - has revealed the pregnancy did wonders for her love life.

Angelina told Marie Claire magazine: "I loved being pregnant and fortunately I was with a man who found it sexy, too.

"In the weeks before the birth we'd have dinner in the dunes by candlelight. We would have tents out there and we had the ocean.

"The 32-year-old actress also revealed she finds Brad, 43, sexy when he is being a father to their children, Cambodian son Maddox, six, Ethiopian daughter Zahara, two, three-year-old Vietnamese son Pax and their 15-month-old biological daughter Shiloh.

Angelina said: "I'm so happy for my children - especially Maddox. I didn't know if he was ever going to have a dad.

"So when I watch him and Brad having real father-and-son time it's hot. "I mean, there's nothing sexier than a man who is a great father."

Vindicated Olympic Park bombing suspect Richard Jewell dies

Richard Jewell, the security guard wrongly suspected and later cleared of setting off a deadly bomb at Atlanta, Georgia's Centennial Olympic Park during the 1996 Olympics, died Wednesday morning, his attorney, Lin Wood, told CNN.

Jewell, 44, died of natural causes at his home in Woodbury, Georgia, according to Meriwether County Coroner Johnny Worley.Jewell had been suffering from diabetes and kidney failure since February, Worley said.Worley is working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on the autopsy, which should be completed Thursday afternoon. No foul play is suspected, he said. After 12 weeks of scrutiny following the bombing, Jewell was cleared by the FBI and U.S. Attorney Kent Alexander in an unprecedented government acknowledgment of wrongful accusation."I am not the Olympic Park bomber," Jewell told reporters after being cleared. "I am a man who has lived 88 days afraid of being arrested for a crime I did not commit."The FBI, Jewell said, trampled on his rights "in its rush to show the world it could get its man," while the news media "cared nothing about my feelings as a human being" in its rush to get a story on the bombing.Jewell was working as a private security guard in Centennial Olympic Park about 1 a.m. on July 27 when he noticed a suspicious unidentified package and began moving people away from it. The package turned out to contain a bomb, which eventually killed one person and wounded more than 100.Initially hailed a hero for moving people away, he was later cast in a different light when the FBI began investigating whether he had set off the bomb to give himself an opportunity to be a hero. For weeks, reporters and camera crews camped outside Jewell's Atlanta apartment, capturing every move that he -- and the FBI -- made.He later sued the FBI and several media organizations. CNN and NBC were among the organizations that settled with him.In April, 2005, Eric Robert Rudolph pleaded guilty to the bombing. Rudolph was captured in Murphy, North Carolina, in May 2003 after one of the largest manhunts in U.S. history. Rudolph also pleaded guilty to the 1998 bombing of a family planning clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, that killed a police officer and two 1997 bombings at an abortion clinic and a gay nightclub in Georgia. He is serving four consecutive life sentences plus 120 years for the convictions.

Casting Ouch: Shilpa Vs Ash

'Pink Panther 2' casting has now become the hotly debated issue in Bollywood. Contrary to latest media reports, Aishwarya’s international agent Simone Sheffield says, "Ms Rai was the first and only choice to play Sophie in the Hollywood film Pink Panther 2."

The casting director Ilene Starger too endorses this fact by saying, "We did not offer the role to anyone other than Aishwarya. Period. Ash was the actress I envisioned when I read the script. Her intelligence, beauty and sophistication are just what the role requires. She fits in wonderfully with our fantastic ensemble cast, and all of us are thrilled to work with her.”A couple of actresses claim to have refused the role Ash is starring in. It’s sad. If either of them had been offered a role in such a big budget international film, they’d have jumped at the opportunity instead of passing it up.”
Giving her side of story to SantaBanta, Simone says, "Please look at the original document received from Shilpa and you will see a standard letter signed by an office assistant and NOT by Ilene Starger."
"NO WHERE in the letter is there an offer for Shilpa to read, appear or even consider appearing in the film.....it is merely an invitation for Shilpa to submit a tape of herself. PERIOD.....this process is standard in the industry," she adds.
Last week, Ash shot for the film in Paris shooting alongside Steve Martin (who reprises his role as Inspector Jacques Clouseau) and Andy Garcia (Vincente) and has now returned to Mumbai to complete Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar and Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj.

Signs and symptoms of Bronchitis

A cough that brings up yellowish-gray or green mucus (sputum) is one of the main signs of bronchitis. Mucus itself isn't abnormal - your airways produce at least an ounce of normal secretions every day. But these secretions usually don't accumulate, because they're continuously cleared into your throat and swallowed with your saliva. When the main air passageways in your lungs (bronchial tubes) are inflamed, however, they often produce large amounts of discolored mucus that comes up when you cough. Mucus that isn't white or clear usually means there's a secondary infection.Still, these signs can be deceptive. You don't always produce sputum when you have bronchitis, and children often swallow coughed-up material, so parents may not know there's a secondary infection.Bronchitis may be accompanied by common signs and symptoms of an upper respiratory infection, including:
- Soreness and a feeling of constriction or burning in your chest
- Sore throat
- Congestion
- Breathlessness
- Wheezing
- Slight fever and chills
- Overall malaise
Sometimes chronic sinusitis - an ongoing infection in the lining of one or more of the cavities in the bone around your nose - can mimic bronchitis. That's because the signs and symptoms of chronic sinusitis include a thick, yellow or green postnasal discharge and a chronic cough that's triggered when you try to clear your throat of mucus draining from your sinuses.

Beyonce's Wardrobe Malfunction at Gig

It seems that singer Beyonce Knowles is not having much luck on the stage these days.
After toppling down the stage at a concert in Florida last month, the ‘Naughty Girl’ singer shocked fans again – this time by baring her breasts onstage. The 25-year-old star suffered an apparent wardrobe malfunction while performing at the launch of her clothing line, Dereon, in Toronto, Canada. The footage of the accidental flashing was posted on the Internet, after Knowles' top flew up and exposed her bare breasts. However, the singer's rep insists that Knowles remained decent throughout the show, owing to her well-coordinated undergarments."She was wearing a bra that perfectly matches her costume," E! Online quoted the representative, as saying.

He is very understanding and helpful : Esha

'I call my pet dog as darling. It's a nice name,' says Esha Deol as she got into an animated conversation with IndiaFM about her next film Darling where she is playing Fardeen Khan's love interest on-the-sly. “People who are having an affair obviously have a lot of passion and lots of romance,” she says and laughs uproariously. If the promos of the film are anything to go by, then this Deol scion has a meaty role up her sleeve that may very well showcase her acting talents. Let's not waste any more time and dig into some straight-talking…

What is Darling all about?
Darling is a thriller with an element of comedy in it. In the film, I'm playing this girl Geeta who is Fardeen's secretary. They are having an affair. Due to some unfortunate incident the poor girl dies. But she has a lot of unfinished work left on earth so she comes back as an unsatisfied soul.

The promos where you tickle Fardeen's cheeks while he is sleeping with Isha Koppikar are funny as well as creepy…
It's a thriller which is funny.

After Ankahee, Darling seems to be one movie that may have exploited your acting talents to the optimum…
Absolutely true. Mr. Ram Gopal Varma has done a very good job with me. I'm very satisfied with the way my character has shaped up and the way the graph of my character grows. I loved playing Geeta.

Your chemistry with Fardeen is crackling with freshness…
Yeah, thank you Fardeen for bearing with me.

The song picturisation of Tadap is oozing with passion. You guys look very involved….
People who are having an affair obviously have a lot of passion and lots of romance. It is not a boring committed relationship.

So, committed relationships are boring…
(Laughs) They get boring after a while.

What was your reaction when you heard the title Darling…It's an unusual name…Isn't it!
Darling is a really nice title. You'll have to judge for yourself who's the Darling. When you love someone you call them Darling, sweety, baby. So Darling is one of those better off words than baby or sweetu. I call my pet dog as Darling. It's a nice name.

You've worked with several directors. When you were offered a film to be directed by RGV, how did you react to that?
I was like wow! It's a treat for me to work under his direction. He is a gift to our industry.

RGV Ki Aag is releasing on August 31st and Darling is releasing on September 7th. Both have been directed by the same director. Does it affect both the films in anyway?
I don't know. I'm no one to judge that and I've never really given it a thought.

What about music of the film. What's your favourite track?
Music is really nice. T Series is producing the film. Their taste in the music and even Ramu's taste for the matter is outstanding. We have Pritam and Himesh doing the music. Most of the tracks are catchy. Tadap is my favourite.

How was it working with Isha Koppikar, in a way you are playing her soutan?
She took me by surprise. Usually I refrain from being friendly with any female co-stars because I've never really got along that well. But Isha is chilled out and really minds her own space. She is a treat to work with. She sticks to her character and helps you do your own thing.

Fardeen calls you a buddy. How is he as a co-star?
Working with Fardeen has always been really nice. We have always gelled very well together and there are times when we've run out of conversation. We've worked so much together that we didn't know what to say to each other. There would be days when we won't wish each other hello. On the other hand, there would be days when we would have lots to talk about and he is someone who's not a selfish actor. He is very understanding and helpful.

A few of the movies that you guys have done together haven't worked at the Box Office…does it bother you?
That's not in my hands. I'm an actress.

Any memorable incident during the shooting of Darling?
When we were shooting the Tadap song, Fardeen and me were doing this step, he was really close to me and it was one of those days….Ramu knew that me and Fardeen were bored of each other . While doing a step my elbow gave a hard blow to his chin and the poor fellow got hurt really badly. Ramu said you've done it on purpose. (Laughs).

What are your forthcoming projects?
Hijack with Shiney Ahuja.

I AM NOT ABOUT THAT...- JELENA JANKOVIC

TORONTO—Sunday was a day of triumph for Serbian tennis, but Jelena Jankovic missed it all. While her compatriots Novak Djokovic and Ana Ivanovic gave the country a sweep of the week’ titles by winning the Rogers Cup in Montreal and the EastWest Bank Classic in Los Angeles, Jelena Jankovic spent much of the day in another setting that's familiar to tennis players – an airplane.
“I flew all day yesterday, I didn’t have a chance to watch anything,” she said, after arriving in Toronto for the Rogers Cup from Los Angeles.
But Jankovic didn’t have to see the match to know Djokovic had produced something special. With 20-year-old became the first player to defeat both Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at the same event, defeating the No. 2 and No. 1 ranked players back-to-back over the weekend.
“Big congrats to Novak, he has done something amazing, beating Nadal and Federer at the same tournament – it’s not something that happens every day,” said Jankovic. “I hope he can continue like this and do something big time at the US Open.”
Ivanovic’s victory wasn’t quite as sweet for Jankovic, given that it came at her expense in the semifinals. Jankovic was a point away from leading 5-1 in the third set and had two match points at 5-4 on Ivanovic’s serve.
“I never should have lost that match. I felt I was the better player and I had everything under my control and I let it slip away,” she said. Though admitting that Ivanovic came up with some big shots at big moments, Jankovic partly attributed the loss to a lingering flu. “Physically, I was very tired and my level dropped when it was the most important.”
The effects are slowly wearing off. “I’m still blowing my nose but otherwise I feel okay,” she said. “I used to feel very tired... sore throat, fever, couldn’t get out of bed. But now I can do everything.”
Getting sick on the heels of a post-Wimbledon vacation meant that Jankovic went nearly a month without playing – practically unheard of for the indefatigable Serb. She has played 28 events in the past year, more than anyone else in the Top 10, capped by a stretch of nine straight weeks through Wimbledon.“I’m a player who likes to compete,” she said. “I’m not a player who likes to spend many hours on the practice court; practice four months and then go to play one tournament, practice again. I’m not about that.”

Overview of HIV / AIDS in Nepal

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) has become a global crisis challenging the humanity of our time. Further, the crisis is projected to get worse turning into a catastrophe. This epidemic transcends geographical, gender, racial, ethnic as well as economic barriers, and thus, Nepal remains no exception. Health experts have projected that it will become a leading cause of death over the coming years. During the early 1990s Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) seroprevalence surveys detected HIV infections among sexually transmitted infection (STI) patients and female sex workers throughout most regions in Nepal. The 2003 estimate of UNAIDS states that there are as many as 61,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Nepal. Further, a study done by New Era (2002) states that 40.4 percent of intravenous drug users (IDUs) in Nepal are HIV positive.
An estimated number of 3,000 adult and child deaths have been attributed to HIV/AIDS in 2002. However, well-researched, concrete and consistent data is yet to be determined. With the lack of such solid data, those living with HIV/AIDS are believed to be much higher than the estimate.
With the increased rate of migration, trafficking within and across the country, child labor and injecting drug users, the HIV/AIDS rate will only go up. Those who are at higher risk comprise migrants, child labors, the younger population in general, intravenous drug users, and unborn child of infected mothers. Unprotected sex, use of intravenous unsterilized injections, and mother to child infections have been the important risk factors.
But the major mode of transmission remains sexual intercourse. In most cases, the HIV epidemic is driven by the behaviors such as unprotected sex, use of unsterile injectibles, and stigmatizing and condemning the infected puts individuals at higher risks. Therefore, raising awareness on HIV/AIDS and clarifying the misconceptions are an effective tool toward prevention. Moreover, it is also vital to break down the stigmas and misconceptions associated with HIV/AIDS so that effective treatment of HIV-positive persons can be carried out in a manner that ensures their basic human rights.
