SUGAM...NOW A TV PRESENTER

Sugam Pokhrel is doing pretty well for himself as a radio jockey at Sagarmatha FM 102.4 and he is doing even better these days as a singer. Now start counting the days because you will soon be watching him in his new avatar as a TV presenter. Yes! You have read it right!

Indeed very soon, Sugam will be hosting a brand new program 'Maya Ko Dori' which will be telecast and presented by Nepal 1. So what is this 'Maya Ko Dori' all about? Bored of watching the same old melodrama? Then, this show is sure to hit it big time if inside stories are too believed. Ahem...this is a talent hunt show! Sugam shares, " 'Maya Ko Dori' will bring talented singers to the forefront" Sounds great!

Co-hosted by Sugam and Bishnu Chemjong, auditions for 'Maya Ko Dori' will begin tentatively from this Sunday or Monday. "Actually I am quite not sure when the show will be premiered. By now, it should have started but we are having quite a problem with the dates. Once the day has been confirmed we know we will rock." When asked why he opted to do this program in particular, Sugam jovially says, "I have an experience as a radio jockey and now I also want to experience what TV presentation is all about. Nepal 1 had approached me with the offer long time back and once they came up with 'Maya Ko Dori', it fitted the bill just perfectly. This program is all about singing and I am sure I can do a fair judgment as a host as well. I just hope that I will do well in my new endeavor. Cross my fingers that it will be fruitful and everything will turn out just fine!" Thumbs up!!! We know you can do it!
